Iowa/Benton County Women's "Agronomy in the Field" Newsletter

Welcome to the Iowa/Benton County cohort of "Agronomy in the Field!"

Agronomy in the Field is a women's program started by ISU Extension & Outreach field agronomist Angie Rieck-Hinz in north central Iowa. Since it's inception in 2015, we've expanded this programming to other areas of the state to provide hands-on, interactive agronomy education for women in agriculture! This spring/summer, we'll meet at farms in Iowa and Benton counties to talk about crop growth and development, pasture management, integrated pest management, water quality and cover crops, and any other topics that are of interest to the group!

We are excited for another season of Agronomy in the Field and would love for you to be a part of it. Please sign up below to receive our email newsletter updates regarding the Iowa/Benton County cohort meeting dates and summaries, and we look forward to seeing you this year!

Rose Danaher (Price Creek Watershed Coordinator), Meaghan Anderson (ISUEO field agronomist), and Denise Schwab (ISUEO beef specialist)
